Your board has put together an awesome line up for our annual convention. Join us as we kick off our 2024 annual convention with a Brewer game. We will board the bus at the The Ingleside Hotel for a 12:30 departure on Sunday September 29 for a 2:10 game against the New York Mets. We will board the bus to depart at 5:30 to return to the The Ingleside Hotel. You will enjoy dinner on your own and then join us back in the hospitality suite.
Monday’s seminar features Your Banking Relationship, Preparing a Business to Sell, Acquring a Business, and Ethics by North Point Business Consulting LLC. Our annual meeting will be held at 3:00 pm.
Monday night installation banquet is business casual dress. There will be a cash bar at 6:00 followed by dinner at 7:00 and installation of officers at 8:00.
Tuesday’s Seminar will be given by Dave Krebs from Envision Financial Services LLC on Practice Management.
Topics include: Thrill’em and Bill’em – Develop a pricing model and use guarantees, Mark’et and Spark’it – Develop the right marketing program to strengthen your business, Profit Centers – Add new profit centers to your revenue stream, Processes – Developing systems and procedures are not sexy but essential, Tax Tamer – Learn to use a product that will identify tax savings for your client, Vision and Mission – Determine what your firm of the future will look like, Count the Beans – Measure your processes to make sure they are working correctly, and Team Building – Retain and attract the right team.
The hospitality room will be open after all the evening events with the WAA providing your favorite beverages. Bring a snack to share!!!
Consider participating in the entire convention. You not only understand more about the organization, but you get to interact on a social level with your peers. The more active you become in the organization, the more friends you make and the more networking connections you will have. I am sure you will find it very rewarding personally and professionally.
